I hope you ladies are all ready for a great semester!  I just have a few things.  Scholarship applications are available today.  They need to be turned in by next Wednesday, September 4.  Please read all the directions.  I've added some information, so don't skip it!  With that, I'm going to need volunteers to be on the Scholarship Committee.  You would just be giving me no more than an hour and a half of your time and I will give you pizza!  The meeting will be sometime during the weekend of September 6.  I will be willing to work on what times - I just need people to volunteer!  Also, I've printed out a Dues Allocation sheet.  This is just to show the breakdown of where your money goes.  Lastly, I will be making an important announcement about dues, so listen up! :)

Welcome back again everyone!!!  I just wanted to let you all know about our new website.  You can access it at http://mugammaphi.tripod.com.  Its not the best website (Im not 

THAT good at computers) but I think it will be much easier for everyone to be up to date on information.  Make sure you check it out on a regular basis.  Also, if any of you are 

thinkingofrunning for a position (which I HIGHLY encourage you to do), please talk to 

that officer, give them a call, or drop them an email so you can find out a little more about 

their position.  Later in the month there will be a bulletin board put up so you can find out information about positions there too:)

Here are some very important recruitment dates:

  •  October 6-- Mandatory New Member Recruitment Workshop #1
  • October 1--Last day to turn in documented recruitment          excuses (needed if you are going to miss either a workshop or ANY part of a round during recruitment)
  •  November 9--Mandatory New Member Recruitment Workshop #2
  • November 17--Mandatory All Chapter Recruitment Workshop
  • January 2--Come back to Oxford from break

You will be held responsible for knowing these dates, so please write them down
